"A Random Quiet" is the mesmerising, timeless debut from Hall of Ghosts - a widescreen tapestry of rootsy pop, soulful melancholia and haunting Americana.

Hall of Ghosts is the musical moniker of Shropshire (UK) singer/songwriter Jim Williams, who recorded the album throughout 2010 and 2011 with the assistance of drummer Ben Davies and British pedal steel guitar maestro Gerry Hogan.

The album further develops some of the sounds explored by Jim with his previous band, Additional Moog, who drew acclaim for both of their alt country albums “Thirty Three & A Third” and “Endless Air”.

"A Random Quiet" was mastered by award winning engineer Bob Katz at his studio in Florida (US).

Hall of Ghosts will be on tour in Spring 2012 to coincide with the release of "A Random Quiet".
